To Disable Multiple Sites
- Go to "My Workspace"
- Go to "Worksite Setup"
- Click "Status" colunn to sort sites by Unpublished.
- Check the course
- Click "revise"
- Click "manage access"
- Uncheck "publish"
- Click "update"
- Click on "Next"
Repeat steps 5-9 for each site that you want to unpublish.
The above steps take you directly to the next in the Unpublished series to change its status.
Retract a Test
- Go into the Tests & Quizzes section and look at the listed tests
- Find the published test version (NOT the one in Core Assessments area)
- Click on Settings for that test
- In settings, under the Date setting, find the start and stop dates
- There is now the retract date box
- Use the calendar widgit to put in the current date
- Scroll down to the bottom of the window and click on the (save, accept, publish, whatever makes it happen) button.
- The test will no longer be visible to students but you'll see it in the inactive tests area.
Number of Points for Test is Wrong
- Click on Modify at the row of each Part
- Scroll down
- Click on update changes
- Should refresh / calculate points
- Publish the test
Make a link open in a new browser window
- In the FCK editor, in the target tab, pull down the menu and choose New Window (_blank)
- In the SFYREX editor, hyperlink Properties window, pull down the Target Frame drop down and select _blank
Prevent students from creating new topics under a specific forum/discussion
- In the Manage area, click on the Forums link.
- Click to edit each forum
- Check the Reply Only box.

Students will be able to reply to posts, but not create their own topics.
By the way, as instructor, you will still be able to add topics, so you won't see any difference.
If you log in as a fake student, you'll see that there isn't a Post Topic link at the top of the page.
